My absolute favorite time to travel to Walt Disney World® Resort is in the fall. It’s amazing! You have the wonderful decorations, cooler evenings, Epcot® Food & Wine Festival, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – all of my favorites. But, that also means traveling during football season. Therefore, at least one or two Sundays are going to be spent at Walt Disney World - and I can’t miss my beloved Saints. I won’t. It’s a major no-no and against the rules of the Who Dat Nation!
Luckily, I have options when it comes to catching a game. First, is the life-saving (to us sports fans) ESPN Zone located at Disney’s BoardWalk Entertainment District, just within walking distance to Epcot®. This place is paradise! With over 100 TV’s and 13,000+ square feet of space, you are sure to catch your favorite team. Need to run to the restroom? They have you covered, as TV’s are in there, too! With an extensive menu of your favorite game day food and plenty of beer and cocktails from which to choose, you will have no problem telling Mickey and friends you’ll be back for more fun – just after the game.

While the ESPN Zone is a fantastic place to watch the game in the heart of the Disney magic, you may be looking for something low-key and not as noisy. Perhaps, you have a family who isn’t quite as interested in the game and would like to rest or swim. If so, visit the pool bar at your resort. Games are usually broadcast on several different TV’s in the bar area and libations are flowing! You will even be able to order a snack from the food court or the bar to accompany your beverage of choice. You will almost always see someone wearing a team jersey and the sports community gladly welcomes another fan to the bar!

ESPN at Disney’s Boardwalk is always your best bet. Children are welcome and you can count on the game being shown there.
